It has come to my attention that potential attendees are finding it difficult to stomach the high price of a weekend stay at the Crowne Plaza, where our Con is being held. This is our fault for not getting lowered rates yet, but we hope everyone will still come to our convention knowing that there are a large selection of other hotels/motels within less than 10 miles from the Con. Why be so negative about the Crowne Plaza? We finally got the discounted room rates. They are $90 dollars per night (for much nicer rooms than most of the other local hotels). I haven't posted the details on the con website yet because there are some other details involved such as the deadline for reservations and refund conditions.

For those who have been waiting for the rates, I apologize for taking so long.

The place is beautiful! & thats actually not a bad price for the rooms at all.
